As with the exterior, the interior of the 2011 Toyota Prius remains largely unchanged from the 2010 model year. The interior is quite roomy and large enough to be classified as a mid-sized car. The cabin is snazzy, modern and efficient. The high ceiling allows for plenty of head room and wide front buckets make seating a lot more comfortable for very tall people. There's plenty of knee and toe space for people in the rear but fitting three people may be a bit tight. The seats are made of ecologically friendly recyclable materials made of plant-derived resin; leather seating is optional. The dashboard gauges are all digital and sit on top of the instrument panel rather than in front of the driver. A 5 inch wide display shows information such as a Hybrid System Indicator showing how efficiently you drive, gas mileage in 1 or 5 mile increments, Energy Monitor, and battery charge. There is a large hatchback opening and folding the rear seats creates a flat, carpeted section to create some additional cargo room. We hope you enjoy the pictures below showing the interior of the 2011 Prius!
